Shellharbour, Albion Park & Jamberoo
Shellharbour is fifteen minutes from our base. Setup runs unhurried, a forgotten cable costs twenty minutes instead of your night, and Chris has worked these rooms for years.
You are choosing between two kinds of Shellharbour venue, and each asks something different of you.
A club or reception centre hands you the infrastructure: fixed power, a stage, in-house AV, a kitchen on a schedule. You know what you are getting. You also get a hard finish time, so your run sheet has to tell the truth about when the dance floor opens.
An estate gives you the setting and leaves the infrastructure to you. Power might come off a generator or one domestic circuit, and you are stacking a DJ rig, lighting and effects on top of a caterer already drawing load. Driveways can be unsealed. Chris rings the venue and asks, because any of this costs you nothing in March and a great deal on the afternoon.
One person on ceremony, mic and music soaks up most of that variance, because nothing gets dropped in a handover.

Across 1,200 events, three delays keep showing up. Your venue causes none of them.
Speeches run long because nobody gave the speakers a limit. Agree a rough length with each of them in advance and you claw back fifteen to twenty minutes that would have come off your dance floor.
Second is the gap between the last plate and the first dance. Leave it undriven and your guests drift outside. You will work twice as hard to get them back in.
Third, the curfew arrives sooner than you planned. When your DJ also holds the mic, he compresses the set live and moves the peak forward instead of losing it.
Take one service or several. Celebrant, MC and DJ together costs $2,990, about $510 under booking them apart.
Chris writes every ceremony from scratch and handles the legal paperwork and the NOIM. See wedding celebrant.
24 years DJing and the same person on the mic, so the music and the run sheet move together. See DJ and MC.
Classic mirror, modern mirror, 360 video booth and Boomabooth, with instant prints. See photo booth hire.
Dry ice, cold sparks, CO2 and bubbles. A trained operator runs them under $20 million public liability cover, and Chris clears them with your venue. See special FX.
Candid coverage across the Illawarra. See wedding photography.
A 25 per cent deposit holds the date. Chris answers every enquiry himself inside 24 hours, then a short call or a coffee, then an itemised quote for your venue and date.
Peak season runs October to April and most 2027 Saturdays have gone. If you can move your date, a shoulder-season Friday or Sunday buys you both availability and a better venue rate.
Venues Party Central works at around Shellharbour, Albion Park and Jamberoo. Not listed? Ask when you enquire.
Before the day, Chris confirms bump-in times, power access, noise curfews and special-effects permissions directly with your venue coordinator, so nothing is discovered on the afternoon.

Ready to check availability for your South Coast wedding? Send a message and Chris will respond with pricing and availability, usually the same day.
Both. Club and reception-centre rooms have fixed power and in-house AV but usually a hard curfew, so the run sheet is built around it. Estates and rural properties need power and access confirmed in advance. Chris checks these with the venue directly before the day rather than assuming.
No separate travel fee. Party Central is based in the Illawarra, about fifteen minutes away, so these are local bookings. Any travel component for more distant venues is included upfront in the quote.
Yes, and it is the most-booked option. Chris runs the ceremony, hosts the reception and plays the music. One briefing, one contact on the day, one invoice. The package is $2,990 versus roughly $3,500 booking the three separately.
Because the MC and the DJ are the same person, the set is adjusted live. He tightens the speeches, opens the dance floor earlier and moves the musical peak forward so the curfew does not take it.
